An Olympic Journey...
The support we have received from family, friends and local supportive businesses have helped finance my wife and mother's trip to watch me compete in Beijing! I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Every thought, prayer, and dollar given is valued emmensely and greatly appreciated. Many people don't know that financial compensation does not extend to athlete's family members and unfortunately it is quite expensive paying out-of-pocket.
Unfortunately with the 2012 Olympic Trials at the end of June (the event which determines who makes the USA Olympic Team) and the Olympic Games in London held in mid-August, it makes for quick plans regardless of financial planning and preparation.
